I am a topography engineer with knowledge in remote sensing, digital image processing, spatial analysis, geographic information systems and their integration with environmental sensors. I’m interested in remote sensing applications on both active and passive satellite platforms, and their fusion with in-situ environmental sensing, combining this with machine learning for monitoring biophysical parameters.
I’m also an enthusiast of open-source software development. I’m a regular user of GRASS GIS (mainly temporal modules), Python (Numpy, Pandas, SKLearn, Matplotlib, Keras, PyTorch) and R (Keras, Caret, Cast for spatio-temporal modeling). I’ve also worked with Docker containers, running on HTCondor-based clusters.
